I have no extension, but a simple calc will do...
Dd =3D L/A=20 Dd( D sub d) is the drainage density in miles per mile L is the length of streams in miles A is the area in square miles.=20
In general the greater the value of DD, the more efficiently the = watershed is drained.

Dear All, I'm trying to calculate the drainage density for a drainage network, I=20 used the the drainage / lineament /road analyst extension for Arc view=20 but something went wrong. If any one has used this extension and make=20 work, could tell me the steps in detail how he/she used it or any other=20 way how can I calculate drainage density in Arc view or Arc Gis. regards Mohamed
