A partner is interested in developing some services for the AM/FM utilities
industries in Greece, Albania, Macedonia, Turkey & Bulgaria. What they want
to know is, what projects have already been completed in GIS, what cities,
etc. Included should be telecommunications network GIS, electric GIS, water,
sewer, gas, wireless GIS, SCADA, etc. I'd like to get a general
understanding and if anyone on the list can reference any projects, point me
toward press releases, companies in those countries, or organizations that
have implemented these type of projects, it would be greatly appreciated.
This would help at least understand where new opportunities might be
available, and will help the partner figure out their strategy. Thanks.
