Hello list, =20 I have a question about cartography standards. We're working on a = report that's about 200 pages long and approximately 120 of those pages are = maps. The report is for a county agency and I'm wondering if we really have to = put source information on each and every map. I've seen reports done both = ways. We think it's quite distracting considering the number of maps and = number of data sources used on each map (3 or 4 lines of source info for each = one). We have a list of every shapefile used and it's originator in the = appendix. Is that enough? =20 I know technically maps are supposed to have source info on them but can that rule change when it comes to long, map-filled reports? =20 Thanks for any insight! -Jessica Smith =20 _______________________________________________ gislist mailing list gislist@lists.geocomm.com http://lists.geocomm.com/mailman/listinfo/gislist
