This topic was bashed around quite a lot on this and a couple of other lists in the last year or so. If you can find an archives for the list, you may find your answers. There were VERY strong opinions both for and against and it was one of the longer running dialogs the list endured.

General Question:
Has anybody seen any benefits resulting from becoming GIS Certified or benefits in the future since the process is so new.? Specifically from the following governing body www.gisci.org <www.gisci.org> . Any comments on the subject would be appreciated and I will sum. Thanks
