Hi List,
I am attempting to build a route system based on an existing county wide street center line file. This will eventually be used for traffic analysis. I am trying to understand the "m domain" in the geodatabase. I think it represents a value greater than the longest accumulated route value in the network. That is, it is related to the length of the features being converted into a route network, which means the units must be based on the underlying projection (state plane feet in this case) or an explicit attribute value in the feature itself. Am I on the right path with this? I can't quite seem to grasp what this M domain is all about, despite reading thru tons of ESRI documents. I have had a few errors when I have attempted to process the data.
