Final announcement, that registration is closing for the

2nd Vespucci Summer School on GI Science

(3 one-week sessions, 5 - 23 July 2004, Tuscany)

Week 1: Spatial Analysis
(Lead by Mike Goodchild and Bob Haining: exercises with ArcGIS 8.x)

Week 2: Research methods and progress in Spatial Data Infrastructures
(Lead by Craglia, Kuhn, Gould, Mark, Masser, this week pushes ahead the=20
SDI research agenda, well beyond tool-making and application!)

Week 3: Geodemographics : Incorporating neighbourhood classifications in=20
GIS applications
(Lead by Richard Webber, considered a "father" of geomarketing and=20
geodemographics, along with several colleagues from academia and the=20
commercial world)

This is a high-level summer school, which involves substantial group=20
collaboration and presentations.

SEVERAL SPACES ARE STILL OPEN FOR WEEK 3 !!

Also added has been the weekend excursion to Montepulciano, a wine-lovers=20
paradise.
