I have been geocoding with Centrus Desktop using GDT data (set up as proprietary data set). I geocode using GCS NAD 83. I then need to transform this into CA Teale Albers and I do so using the appropriate functions in ArcGIS. However, when I compare what my results are to what I actually geocoded in CA Teale Albers from actual GDT shape files, I get surprising (and ultimately poor representation) results from the Centrus geocodes. They appear way off. Am I missing something here or is there an appropriate transformation algorithm I should be choosing (I use the default in ArcToolbox). Any assistance would be helpful.
