I've been asked by the Powers That Be (tm) to draft some cartographic guidelines
for my organization. While I have some ideas and several pages already written,
I would be greatly interested in anyone's suggestions for topics/issues I should
include and feedback from anyone who has done this sort of thing.
I'm also looking for any existing documents on this from other organizations. I
want it to be fairly inclusive yet not too intimidating -- It will have a large
audience of GIS newbie-types. That is, people with little or no formal
cartographic education.
