Does anyone on the list have experience with Intergraph's GeoMedia? Last demo I
saw seemed to have pretty powerful raster functionality in it now and if I
remember right it read an awful lot of different file formats natively (no
conversion necessary). I have no experience personally with the product, but
perhaps someone else on the list can comment on whether it does what Adrian
wants.
