Also with modern compilers and architectures unless you are very good at
assembly, it's usually better to write it in a HLL and let the compiler
do the work.. At least most programmers I see being churned out barely
grok assembly at all.. Anyways, with some exceptions.. its more often
the programmer/architect that is at fault, by using absurd data
structures and lousy algorithms, rather than a "slow" HLL.
