Hi Listers,
We are interested in purchasing a wildlife tracking system for use throughout our range. The system will be primarily utilized to track desert tortoise over very extreme and remote (+/- 1400 sq. miles) terrain: exceeding temperatures of 120 degrees Fahrenheit. Our system requirements are as follows:
*Small ergonomic and adaptable units for various wildlife species (importantly desert tortoise) *GPS w/ satellite transmitter solution (and possibly a telemetry capability for in-field locating) *Remote digital transmission of (either real time, interval, or upon request) logged data to a common medium such as internet, email, etc... *10 meter or better positional accuracy *Capability to acquire/log air temperature via unit(s) *Reasonably priced
Thanks, Travis
