Couldn't agree more. Taking the whole analogy to a logical absurdity how do
we start the certification process for our world's political leaders?
Perhaps this has more urgency than that for GIS specialists at present.

Have a look this link. This was work from one of our non qualifed Geospatial
scientists. Please let me know if you would not consider his skills due to
lack of certification?
