Subject: RE: [gislist] ArcGIS 9 preferred OS poll
Date:  07/13/2004 07:00:02 AM
From:  Gary Andersen

I am running 9.0 on XP and have found it to be very stable. It is
certainly more stable than AutoDesk Map 3D 2005 which I have had to
reinstall three times.

Subject: [gislist] ArcGIS 9 preferred OS poll

Informal question to the list

As we all (at least those of us who have installed the latest ESRI
offering) know, Arc9 has both its good and bad things about it, As noted
in earlier discussions on this list.

I currently have Arc9 on a XPpro install and have not been really happy
with the stability (has some nice features if the product was solid).
Are those using Arc9/2000 feeling more confident in their install? ...
or does it have the same amount of relative buggishness?

Anyhow, I toss that out there for discussion... what does the list say?
