Hi Julia
VRML (Virtual Reality Modelling Language) is a technique whereby a 3D
scene can be presented within a standard web browser. The user can then
navigate around the scene using controls provided. Normally you can
have a DEM, imagery, 3D objects, etc.
Instead of requiring expensive 3D software, all that is required is a
free browser plugin to be installed which adds the required
functionality to the browser.
One of the most popular plugins is cosmo player:

I think if you have 3D Analyst and ArcScene then you can export into
VRML.
