Hello,
This is a question for anyone who develops using ArcObjects 9.
I have just installed ArcGIS 9.x and the associated Developer's Kit. I am
using Visual Studio .NET 2003 to create a stand-alone Visual Basic programme
using ArcObjects.
My problem is that when I go to the menu PROJECT -> ADD REFERENCE... menu I
cannot find any ESRI libraries in the .NET tab, and the only ones in the COM
tab are:
ESRI Arc automation server 1.0
ESRI Arcedit control 1.0
ESRI Arcplot control 1.0
ESRI Developer Kit Library Lookup Library 1.0
ESRI Developer Kit Support Type Library 1.0
ESRI Developer Kit VB6 Code Support Library 9.0
ESRI Grid control
ESRI MapObjects LT 2.0
ESRIutil automation server 1.0
It doesn't seem that any of these are the right ones to access the general
ArcObjects interfaces. Nor do I have the Map Control or Page Layout control
or TOC control, etc., in my toolbox. I have used ArcObjects 8.3 and I don't
remember difficulty in registering the libraries, but for some reason I
cannot find them anywhere and I find no answers in the PDFs or the online
help.
If anyone has any ideas they would be greatly appreciated.
