Hi, I've just started a list for users of TNT products
(TNTmips and others). I hope it's OK to announce it
on this list, thinking it might be interesting to
some of the members.

MicroImages distributes a free lite version of their
TNTmips product that you can run on Windows or Unix
platforms (I run it on Linux). There are lots of
tutorials you can download from the site as well.
>From what I've seen so far it's a pretty good
setup for learning GIS, which is what I'm interested
in (more as a hobby than as a profession).
The list will be low-key and informal, newbies
are welcome.
