GIS people
I have been in the mapping field for close to forty years, and have =
applied my trade around the world on varying projects. I find now when I =
approach a city to solicit work in map revision and up dating the first =
or second person that I meet states flat out "we do all our own mapping =
in house"" we do not do any subcontracting". Now I know these people are =
clueless as to what constitute mapping. My question is where in this =
maze is the person who controls all the strings? And what do you call =
old fashion mapping now?
