Subject: RE: [gislist] editing data/input via web gis/wms/wfs

Hi Brian,

Moximedia has nice tutorial/explanation of an OGC based solution. Of course
you can pick any technology to implement this functionality, but I think its
still a "roll your own" solution if you want to stay with open source.

I need something that'll let me (rather my users) edit/input point data
via the web. I know about mapserver/geoserver/et al, but I've not been
able to get a straight answer out of anyone..

Is there anything out there that's open source/free that will let
me do input via the web?

Any remotely useful comment on this would be very welcome, especially
would love to hear from someone who has done this, I have only found
web gis stuff focusing on input so far. I'm not interested in
proprietary solutions as I have no budget, thanks!
