Have a look at the tfw files in Notepad.
ESRI products soemtime put a lot of spaces in between each line, which other
software doesn't like.
Sometimes just deleting these spaces in the world file does the trick.

Our GIS software usually does a good job with viewing GeoTiffs or Tiffs
with .tfw's, but I have seen dozens of different Tiff formats and still
regularly encounter Tiffs that doesn't work.
Not trying to sell you another GIS, but if you are looking for viewers,
you might as well give it a try:

You won't be able to export the tiffs again into a different format for
use with Autocad Map, so I'm not sure if this solves your problem. Feel
free to contact me directly if you need assistance with viewing your
Tiffs in Planet GIS.
