do you have the metadata for the street file? perhaps there is a projection
you can define which will align with the imagery.
arc 9 also allows defining projections for rasters. do you know its
projection?

I have couple of MR SID file for Lynchburg county, NC. Each of the MrSID
has the sdw files associated with it. I am still not able to overlay it
with the street files I downloaded from ESRI website. The street file
shows the projection as
Coordinate System:
GCS_Assumed_Geographic_1
Datum: D_North_American_1927
Prime Meridian: 0
and the projection for MrSID is showing as Undefined?
Can somebody help??
