I have been using AV3.x for years (Since it was 2.x) and recently my software
has developed an annoying quirk. Every once in a while (increasingly so) when I
work with a portrait format layout then switch to a landscape layout for the
next map (zoomed to a new area on the view), the layout draws fine, then when it
finishes drawing it resets itself to a smaller scale zoom. When I switch back
to the view, everything there appears normal but I cannot get the layout to STAY
zoomed to the same level as the view. I have noticed that it occasionally
(often?) redraws the layout on its own accord, but does not change the zoom
level. The redraw happens immediately after it finishes drawing it the first
time.
I have played with the scale and Extent settings in the View Frame Properties,
with the Landscape vs Portrait settings. I can't think of anything else that
could be causing my grief. Any suggestions? Anyone else ever have this problem?
Trouble is, it is not a consistent problem and doesn't always occur, therefore I
can't always reproduce it on demand.
