Dear listers, a version of a shapefile viewer is available at esri
website, its name is arcexplorer
http://www.esri.com/software/arcexplorer/index.html
i have to distribute some cds with shapefiles, but i can freely
distribute the arcexplorer viewer but not the shapefiles, and i want to
find a way to block them...I remember in the previous version of
arcexplorer that shapefiles .shp could be transformed into .aep format,
to be distributed without spreading the shapefiles, but now it seems
that it is not possible....any suggestion?
