Hi,
I doing some research on child care in Philadelphia. I have information on the location of child care centers as well as the residential location of mothers who need child care.
For my project, I am trying to determine the total number of child care centers within a quarter mile of each of mother in my sample. I tried making buffers, but can't seem to link my buffer back to the origin (the mother) to get a total count of child care centers in relation to each mother. Instead, I keep getting the same total for each mom.
Does anyone have any suggestions on how to do this procedure or what I might be doing wrong?
Thanks! Lynda ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Lynda L.
