I am trying to create a polyline shapefile in Arc 9 from survey data.
My data set consists of mapped logs in a forest stand following
blowdown. I have coordinates for the vertices at each end of the log: I
also have log length and azimuth from the log's base. Basically, I'd
love to be able to digitize these data using a batch process (similar to
the "add xy data" for point shapefiles) rather than have to create each
log separately. I appreciate any advice!
