ESRI behind what IMS? Google's? Blasphemy. (and I suppose you think they= =20 search quickly using Oracle...) Google has some of the world's best programmers: why would they settle for= =20 buying heavy arcIMS solution. Take a look, it's lightweight Javascript +=20 html DOM. It checks the centre coords of the view solicited, then sends=20 back 128x128 PNGs. Googly simple.
