Hi ! Can providers of mobile communications measure strength of a device-specific signal that reaches several receivers located around a single mobile device ? Do providers store such signal strength characteristics in any database or can they directly read signal strength characteristics in "real time" ? Can one get access to those databases/readings and use them to define a position by triangulation of the selected mobile device ? What about precision ? I am trying to figure out a possibility of serving maps/location services for wap and gprs enabled devices. Just interested in what choices are available. Thanks in advance ! Viktoras
