Hello Richard,
I have attached a script I use for building 'nodes' from a polyline
shapefile. Each node gets a unique ID. Fnode and Tnode fields are added to
the shapefile and populated with the corresponding node ID. The result is a
dbf file that includes X and Y coordinates so that you can build the points
as an event theme.

I am looking for a script/tool to extract the start and end coordinates of
all objects in a polyline shapefile.
I have found an avenue avx which converts all vertices into points, however
I am only interested in the start and end points of each polyline, and do
not need the intermittent points.
Does anyone know where I can find such a tool, preferably an avenue script?
