Subject: RE: [gislist] Polyline to point conversion
Date:  02/25/2005 12:15:03 PM
From:  Sonny Parafina

This is equally trivial in avenue on a shape file, its been years but I
recall you can return the vertices of a polyline as list and grab the first
and last elements of the list. Syntax maybe off, but something like this:

vertextList = aPolyline.AsList
beginPoint = vertexList.Get(0)
endPoint = vertexList.Get(vertexList.Count)

... and the point of mentioning GML and XSLT in a request for an avenue
script is ?????

Hi,

This is interesting. This is a trivial task in GML using just XSLT.
