You need to provide more information about the toolkit. What sorts of
symbols are included? Are they fonts (that can be used to create marker
symbols), images (bmp or emf), or something else? I make custom symbols all
the time. If they are fonts, they can be installed in your fonts directory
and then accessed from the symbols editor and saved as part of a style. The
same is true for bmp or emf files.
