Thank you all for your replies concerning administrative regions of the
EU countries.
Now I am looking for a place in the Internet hosting descriptions of
various file formats used in GIS both vector and raster (data
structures, byte orders, number formats, offsets and all the related
stuff ) - all in one place. Does such a "place" exist ?
