Currently I am dealing with Map data of Shanghai, China. What I am = having=20 now is a software developed there showing the railways and routes of = the=20 city. My colleagues would like to extract the data out, and I discovered=20=
that the database files are in ".tdb" format. Besides, there are lots = of=20 ".bmp" files as base maps, but they can't be viewed with graphics = viewer.=20 Do anyone of you know about the ".tdb" format or any softwares that can=20 decrpt .bmp files? Thanks in Advance.=20

Now I am looking for a place in the Internet hosting descriptions of=20 various file formats used in GIS both vector and raster (data=20 structures, byte orders, number formats, offsets and all the related=20 stuff ) - all in one place. Does such a "place" exist ?
