These lists have existed for a long time: there's two for ArcView 3.x, one
for ArcGIS, and one for programming in the ArcGIS environment
(ArcVBA). See the Directions Magazine "list of lists" page
(www.directionsmag.com -->Resources -->Discussion) for more information and
instructions for joining.
Most people, though, have migrated to the ESRI-supported forums at
esri.com, because these are Web based.
