I wholeheartedly agree. I'm here to learn, and all questions can/may
facilitate that.

Thanks to all of you who participate in this group, whether by asking or
by answering you make our community stronger.

Cheers!

Margaret -

I couldn't agree more. A *public* list is a *public* forum and thus ripe

for a range of posts, from deep philosophical GIS questions to technical

inquiries like 'how do I get my map to plot at one inch equals 200
feet?'

I enjoy many of the discussions that come from this list - but often get

'bored' with seeing the same pervasive half-dozen or so posters on the
list. As a quiet observer I have noticed - and submit - that some of
the posts, responses, and threads on this list are driven more by ego
and by outsmarting the other than constructive GIS discussion. That
said, I welcome any and all GIS questions and comments, including
technical questions regarding *any* GIS platform. I have been using GIS
for many years now, but I will never tire of the technical questions
because there will always be room for me to grow and learn.

Yet another 2 cents,

Matt
