Check out: http://lists.directionsmag.com/discussion/
for a directory of GIS lists.
This includes: ArcGIS, ArcVB, two ArcView lists, and ESRI-L. But the activity
on all of these has decreased significantly in recent months -- as far as I can
tell, everyone has moved to the ESRI forums.
