Hi everyone, I am back with a problem in scaling a drawing that I thought I had solved. I established two points 1000 feet apart(on the ground) and when I print it out on my HP 1055CM plotter, the points measure about 2070 feet apart when I scale it with the 1" = 1000' scale.. I know I should be able to get the entire area plotted out at 1000 scale, but I only get a portion of of it which covers the entire page. I have not had this problem before and I am hoping that someone out there in answer land can help. Here are my settings: Page and Print Setup: Size ANSI E - 34x44 in. Orientation:: Portrait checked Map page size Use Printer Paper Settings checked Show Printer Margins on Layout checked Scale Map Elements proportionally to changes in Page Size not checked Data Frame Properties General: Name: Layers Map: Feet Display: Feet Reference Scale 1:300 Rotation 0 Label Engine: ESRI Standard label Engine Data Frame: Extent Fixed Scale checked 1 inch = 1000 feet Thanks in advance (TIA) Art _______________________________________________ gislist mailing list gislist@lists.geocomm.com http://lists.geocomm.com/mailman/listinfo/gislist
