Subject: [gislist] ArcGIS mxd question

Hi all,
is it possible to edit the mxd file of ArcGIS in such
a way that when it is written on CD (together with the
spatial data) and for example the CD starts from drive
which is different than the drive on which the
original data were, the mxd to be usable.
For example in the old ArcView you could edit the APR
file and replace for example:
c: with ..\
and then it doesn't matter on which drive you starts
the APR.

Thank you very much in advance.
V. Vassilev
