I am looking to get people's opinions and insights into the AM/FM/GIS
systems that are being utilized for small to medium sized electrical
utility companies.
I work for a utility company that has an Intergraph (FRAMME) based AM/FM
system and we are looking at the options for replacing our current
system. The current system is integrated into various components of
our business including distribution design, outage management, customer
tracking, corporate reporting, and more. The current system is highly
customized and has been developed over the better part of the last
decade.
What systems are utility companies utilizing and what has your
experience been? I am especially interested the various experiences
migrating from FRAMME based systems to other Intergraph and
non-Intergraph AM/FM/GIS systems.
