You don't need a computer, you need a GIS workstation with Xeon processor.
You can consider dual processor, and dual screen card, although almost all
GIS software are not multi-threaded and can't handle more than one
processor, but it dedicate one processor for imagiry and release it from OS
burden.
Not less than 2GB Ram, also screen card at least 128MB, I prefer 256MB,
large screen,....
