I need some help from the list to find a web based tool that will allow me
to
enter coordinates - preferably decimal degrees - and have the location
plotted.
Sort of like Maporama.com in reverse. Does anyone know of such a tool?
Here is why we need it... We ask farmers to sign up for a service via a web
page. They need to enter the coordinates of their farm. If they don't know
the
coords, we give them a link to Maporama.com. Unfortunately, we still get
farms
in the middle of Lake Erie, etc. which means the farmer may be making a
transpositional error when entering the coordinates (not all users are
computer
literate enough to know about copy and paste!). The ideal tool (since we
don't
have the time or resources to build something right now) would be to have a
link
to a site where they could enter their coordinates and see if they have the
right location.
If such a tool exists, I have not been able to find it. Can anyone help?
