Don't know if this matters to you but ZCTA's aren't ZIP code boundaries.
They're a good approximation but they follow census block boundaries,
which don't always coincide with ZIP code boundaries. You can read about
the differences at http://www.census.gov/geo/ZCTA/zcta.html.
