Subject: [gislist] Smartphone/PDA running open source GIS?

Hi folks,

Was wondering whether there are people out there with some good experience
of running 'simple' GPS/GIS-tools (data-collection, minimal display of
GIS-data) in the field on smart phones or pda's, using open source GIS
technology. Which platforms are being used?
I'd appreciate your thoughts and experiences. Will summarize the results on
this list!

cheers,
Mark de Blois
