ONLINE mapping services were supposed to be a godsend for business travelers
when they were introduced a few years ago. But for motorists like Diane Taub,
the devil was in the turn-by-turn directions. ...
This New York Times article highlights a need to "proof" existing dispatch
tools. Periodic drills involving dispatch to out of the way places as a means of
checking the goodness of the programs and the data.
