In addition to Julia's links, the idea of user editable maps has been a
hot topic at the O'Reilly Where 2.0 conference. For example, Microsoft
will be providing user annotable satellite images. Both google and
yahoo made similar announcements. BTW, the office Google Maps API was
released yesterday. Its way cool.
