>Hello again,
I find that I didn't make problem very clear last note.
Iam using Win 2000, and have updated with service packs 1-4, ArcView 3.2
I am using the Vertex Edit Tool (unfilled arrowhead) to try to select a hollow square vertex handle on a line. [finally got the names right] but it will not select the handle.
Clicking on a handle does not highlight it, nor make it movable. Yes, the shapefile is in edit mode. This is the tool I am asking about. The shapefile was converted from a coverage (arc).
Other shapefiles do not seem to have this problem. Any ideas on why this converted one is resisting?
thanks, Rixanne
