Hi All,
I have a problem that I've not been able resolve in(ArcMap-Arcinfo 9x). I
have a land use shapefile (Polygon) which I split into two parts with the
intention to speed up the re-evaluation of land use change pattern. I added a
new_code field which populated using recent aerial photos of the study area.
After the coding, I merged the polygons together and all was fine until when i
labelled the layer and found that it doubles the labels for each polygon
irrespective of the label field. Did I skip something Or maybe perform an
unauthorized move? Is it possible to merge shapefiles and overwrite records?
I'll appreciate a quick help.
