You can get the 2000 TIGER data here for free, but the 2004 data may be
more important for some people.

I wanted to let people know that we've downloaded all the Tigerlines and
converted them to shapefiles for each county (and one file for all
counties in the state). Geographies that are included are:
2004 Streets Network
2004 Metropolitan Statistical Areas
2004 County Boundaries
2004 Place Boundaries (i.e. Cities)
2004 School District Boundaries
2004 Census Zip Code Tabulation Areas
2004 Water Boundaries
2000 Voting Districts
2000 Census Tract Boundaries
