Eric, Zip+4 are typically designated for P.O. Box addresses. This will help in all your addressing needs...USPS Address Standards http://pe.usps.gov/cpim/ftp/pubs/Pub28/pub28.pdf RSL

Can anyone comment on what Zip + 4 offers in terms of geocoding? How many +4 breakdown units are in an average zip code and how many people are in an average zip code and in a zip +4? I am specifically looking at data within Massachusetts and trying to decide if breaking the datasets down to the zip +4 will give me a better view of my data. Any feedback is appreciated. Eric
