GISlist,
I am working on a web based search application where one can query based on spatial attributes (the geographic bounding box) . I have read that WMS (Web Map Interface) can be used for producing an image of geospatial data.
My requirement is the following,
1) Load a map of Australia (by default)
2) Zoom into the required level, hit a button on the page to get the geographic bounding box for the current image.
Any help would be appreciated,
