I think the military concerns of the world are just going to have to deal
with the eyes of the common people of the world on them. Even blanking out
"secure" locations simply draws attention to them. I bet that Google image
that has the White House and the US Senate building in it now gets a lot
more hits than the secret US Navy yard just north of Tonapah, Nevada. (Can't
find it, you say? See how good they hid it?)

Military commanders for years have had to deal with satellite surveillance
at much higher resolutions and higher frequency of updates from other
country's intelligence agencies. They've adapted by now. Images from Google
don't seem to me to be such a threat to anyone's national security.
