Subject: Re: [gislist] Direction & shortest path finder
Date:  10/26/2005 07:35:02 AM
From:  Mr. Mohamed Elshayal

Dear Emanuele,

I wrote all my functions and procedures in Visual Basic 6 language and independent of any commercial component or software package

Shortest path finder is part of my GIS software which contains :-
1 - GIS viewer Software
2 - Database Query Builder
3 - Table Editor with feature selection
4 - Network Shortest path finder.
5 - 3D Map viewer.
6 - GPS receiving module System and convert Lat. & Long. to 23 projection system

According shortest path finder :
I have mixed between crawling technique, and thread technique - ( crawling toward my target ) .
I am writing a small paper which presents my experience in shortest path techniques - ( it will be available at the end of next month )
I will explain in this paper my opinion in the differences between these techniques such as : ( average speed, result accuracy, and used memory )

Awaiting for your reply
Thank you and best Regards
Mohamed Elshayal
